Possible PS5 Release Date for Starfield Surfaces, Coming Soon

A leaker known as Graczdari, who has previously shared accurate release date details for the PS5 version of Microsoft Flight Simulator and the physical edition of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, has reportedly disclosed the release date for the much-anticipated PlayStation 5 port of Starfield: April 7, 2026.

This information surfaced through a report from a Polish source, which included an image from Graczdari listing the supposed Product Numbers and European Article Numbers (EAN) for both the standard and Premium Edition PS5 versions of Starfield. This aligns somewhat with the upcoming Terran Armada DLC for Starfield, which Bethesda has been teasing since September 2025.

Interestingly, the EAN for the PS5 Premium Edition of Starfield matches the EAN for the Xbox Series Premium Edition. However, the EAN provided by Graczdari for the standard edition PS5 port appears to be distinct. Despite this, every reliable EAN and GTIN lookup site I checked indicated that no such product currently exists.

Nonetheless, GS1, the global authority on barcode identification and the largest organization for supply chain identification, has confirmed the EAN in Graczdari’s leak. While they don’t have specific product details linked to the EAN, they do confirm that it is licensed to Microsoft Corporation.

After a significant expansion in 2024, Starfield saw no major updates in 2025, leaving fans curious about Bethesda’s future plans for the sci-fi RPG. There’s also speculation about a potential major 2.0 overhaul for the game later this year. Several well-known YouTubers, including MrMattyPlays, have mentioned being shown a 2.0 update for Starfield behind closed doors, but they were not permitted to disclose any details or timelines for its release.

While this adds some credibility to the leak, it’s essential to remember that the EAN could pertain to any unpublished Microsoft product. Additionally, although Graczdari has had accurate leaks in the past, one of their recent claims—that the physical release of Grand Theft Auto VI would launch after its digital version—was debunked earlier this week by Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.

Rumors about a PS5 port of Starfield have been circulating since early 2024. Given Microsoft’s recent trend of porting its first-party titles to PlayStation, a port for Bethesda’s 2023 space RPG seems more like a question of timing than possibility. We’ll find out soon if that timing is in the coming months. Meanwhile, speculation about a Switch 2 port of the game appears to be dwindling.
