Pre-orders Now Open for Upcoming Pokémon TCG Set at Pokémon Center

Pre-orders for Delta Reign, the highly anticipated Rayquaza-themed set, are now live and set to launch on November 4. Here’s what you can expect from this exciting release.

The set boasts over 135 cards, including 14 Illustration Rare cards, 17 Ultra-Rare cards, and six Special Illustration Rare cards. The standout chase cards include Mega Rayquaza ex (along with its golden variant), Raikou ex, Groudon, Growlithe, Magmortar, Electivire, and Kecleon. Collectors are particularly eager for the first-ever embroidered card in the hobby.

The highlight of the release is the striking green and blue Elite Trainer Box, which comes packed with 11 booster packs, sleeves, dice, coins, and a Kyogre illustration rare card. Priced at $59, this item is expected to be in high demand. Elite Trainer Boxes from the Pokémon Center are coveted and often fetch high prices on the resale market due to the exclusive promo stamp and cards. Historically, there’s a limit of two per purchase for these boxes.

Based on previous pre-orders, the Elite Trainer Box is likely to sell out first, with the entire pre-order window lasting only a few hours. The Pokémon Center typically has a substantial stock for the initial wave of pre-orders.

Also available are the Delta Reign Booster Bundle for $26.94, which includes six packs, and the $159.99 Display Box. The Display Box is expected to last longer due to its higher price point, and both items have a limit of one per customer.

Be prepared for fluctuating wait times as you navigate the pre-order process. If the timer unexpectedly increases, don’t panic; it’s normal. A ten-minute wait can easily turn into an hour, and refreshing the page could push you to the back of the line. If you encounter a timer but the page goes blank, just wait— it will reload automatically.

If you find yourself flagged as a bot and unable to make a purchase, some users suggest clearing your cache and trying again with a different payment method and email. However, repeatedly refreshing the page may make it harder to lift the ban, which could extend beyond the pre-order period.

Errors often occur when too many users are trying to access the Pokémon Center simultaneously. Error 15 allows you to still make a pre-order, while Error 17 is more problematic. To resolve Error 15, clear your cookies, restart your router, and try again.

The Pokémon Center may not always show accurate stock information. If it indicates an item is out of stock during checkout, return to the product page and check your cart again. You can also use the cart trick: visit the product page, check your cart, and click the option to return to the product. The unavailable item may still be there.

However, the item could genuinely be out of stock, especially the Elite Trainer Box. Joining a Discord server focused on restocks can provide real-time updates from users with access to the backend.

To stay ahead, consider joining a Discord stock group for immediate alerts when pre-orders go live. While you can sign up for notifications from the Pokémon Center, those emails can be delayed by up to an hour, meaning the most sought-after items might be gone by then.

It’s generally recommended to navigate the website slowly and manually enter your information instead of using autofill. If possible, avoid Wi-Fi and mobile devices; a wired PC connection is more reliable and less prone to unexpected reloads. Users have reported issues with payment processors like PayPal and Apple Pay, so using a credit card might be a safer option.

If you’re feeling lucky, you can also try Walmart’s weekly raffle for 30th Anniversary products later today. If Delta Reign is your main focus, keep an eye out for its pre-release events, which offer a great opportunity to get the set weeks before its official release without the hassle of long lines.

The Pokémon Center has yet to open pre-orders for the 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collections—Day & Night boxes, which include 29 packs, the Ditto Premium Collection (eight packs), and the 30th Celebration Figure Collection (five packs). All these 30th Anniversary Pokémon products are set to launch on November 6, 2026, just two days after Delta Reign. Pre-orders for these are expected to open soon.

Target’s new Pokémon TCG system may even surpass Walmart’s raffles.
