Preorder the Limited Edition 4K Steelbook of Predator: Badlands Now!

Predator: Badlands is now up for preorder in physical formats at major retailers like Amazon and Walmart. While Blu-ray preorders for most blockbuster films typically launch alongside their theatrical releases, it took a couple of months for the physical editions of Badlands to become available. Fans of the legendary sci-fi franchise can soon add this new standalone entry to their collections, as it hits shelves on February 17 in 4K Blu-ray, 1080p Blu-ray, and DVD formats. The Limited Edition Steelbook of Predator: Badlands is available for preorder at $45. While securing your preorder, don’t miss out on Amazon’s deals for Predator movie box sets and Prey on 4K Blu-ray. If you’re looking to dive back into the Alien universe, you can find Alien 4K Blu-rays starting at just $13, along with a 6-Film Blu-ray Box Set for only $25.

Predator: Badlands features Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi as Dek and Elle Fanning, who plays twin sisters Thia and Tessa. Thia, a synthetic from the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, has lost her legs in battle but defies her programming to join Dek, who crafts a backpack-style wheelchair to assist her during the hunt. This inventive setup leads to some thrilling action sequences. Tessa serves as the main antagonist, and Fanning excels in portraying both roles, while Koloamatangi delivers a standout performance as the new Predator. Set over 300 years in the future, Badlands is well-placed beyond the timelines of previous Predator and Alien films, making it accessible even for newcomers. However, fans will appreciate the nods and Easter eggs scattered throughout. For instance, both of Fanning’s characters were created by the notorious corporation from the Alien series. Most films within the shared universe of Alien and Predator are available on 4K Blu-ray, and if you’re looking to start a collection, we’ve compiled a list of every Alien and Predator movie and box set currently on 4K Blu-ray, 1080p Blu-ray, and DVD.

The Predator franchise has expanded to seven films, with two new releases in 2025.
