Reckless Ben Issues Warning About Episode 3 of Bricks & Minifigs Lego Drama: “I Can’t Share It Without Facing Consequences”
Reckless Ben’s quest to uncover the truth behind the Mansell family’s missing $200,000 Lego Star Wars collection has hit a significant roadblock. He recently announced that he can no longer release the third and final installment of his series on Lego resellers Bricks & Minifigs due to a temporary restraining order (TRO) issued by the Utah Fourth Judicial District Court.
Previously, things appeared to be looking up for both Ben and the Mansell family. The CEO of Patreon had stepped in to ensure that Ben’s content would remain on the platform, leaked bodycam footage from the American Fork Police Department had surfaced, and the GoFundMe set up to help the Mansell family had surpassed $450,000.
Given this momentum, it’s no surprise that Ben’s fans are frustrated with the latest twist in his battle against Bricks & Minifigs Franchising (BAMF). In a video released earlier today, Ben explained that a judge has permitted BAMF to serve him legal documents via email, which means he is now prohibited from publishing or discussing the final part of his investigation.
Ben elaborated that releasing Part 3 could not only land him in legal trouble but also jeopardize the Mansell family’s GoFundMe: “Normally, I’d say, ‘Forget the big guy telling me what to do, I’m going to do what’s right.’ But in this case, if I do that, my friends could get caught up in this lawsuit, and we could lose all the GoFundMe money we raised, just like that.”
He’s serious about the implications, as the TRO, dated May 28, 2026, explicitly states that Ben cannot release any videos related to Bricks & Minifigs Franchising. It even mentions that his previous videos might be removed because they contain information pertinent to the private legal dispute between Bryan Mansell and Chrystal Law, a former owner of the Bricks & Minifigs location in Salem, Oregon.
However, it seems unlikely that this will be the end of Reckless Ben’s investigation. He doesn’t strike me as the type to let a court-issued TRO deter him. With the CEO of Patreon showing such support last week, perhaps there’s a chance he could share the content on Ben’s behalf?
