Rosalina’s Storybook from Super Mario Galaxy Now 30% Off on Amazon
Rosalina’s Storybook from Super Mario Galaxy is now available for just $17.49, down from $25, at Amazon. This 30% discount marks the best price seen so far, but it’s likely to be a limited-time offer. Just last week, both Amazon and Walmart had a temporary deal that brought the price down to $21.13, but they quickly sold out, and Walmart has yet to restock. If you place an order today (December 12), it should arrive before Christmas. The hardcover edition of Rosalina’s Storybook was released on November 25, and it was surprisingly hard to preorder from Amazon. Restocks would vanish within hours, making this significant discount quite unexpected so soon after its launch. Since its debut on Amazon in September, Rosalina’s Storybook has been the top-selling new release from Dark Horse.
Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 launched on October 2 for both physical and digital formats on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The physical version is compatible with the original Switch, but you can upgrade to the Switch 2 version at no extra cost. Both games feature traditional button and stick controls as well as motion controls, with the Switch 2 version running in stunning 4K resolution. You can grab the physical edition of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 for $69 at Amazon and Walmart.
Nintendo is also set to release its first Super Mario Galaxy Amiibo figures, featuring Mario and Luma, as well as Rosalina and Lumas. These new Amiibo are available for preorder at $40 each, with a launch date set for April 2, 2026. However, preorders have been fluctuating in availability. Currently, both Amazon and Walmart are out of stock for these characters, but you can still preorder Mario and Rosalina from Target and Best Buy. Target also has the original Rosalina Super Smash Bros. Amiibo available for $20. The timing of these new Amiibo aligns with the April 2026 release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

This hardcover book allows fans to revisit the original trilogy and was created in collaboration with Piggyback, known for their acclaimed Legend of Zelda strategy guides. Initially set for a June 2025 release, it has been rescheduled to October 28. The book is available for $46.59 (originally $50) at Amazon and features a clothbound cover with a metallic foil illustration of Samus, along with archival artwork and behind-the-scenes insights from the Retro Studios team, including a foreword by series producer Kensuke Tanabe.
