I anticipated that Saros would spark discussions in the ongoing culture clash when I dove into Housemarque’s latest shooter, but I was taken aback by how far some would go, twisting the truth and using AI-generated images to fuel their latest outrage cycle. The first instance of the Saros misinformation campaign I stumbled upon has since been removed, but an inflammatory post claimed that the game features “a storyline involving a cucked man being betrayed and left by his wife for a lesbian woman.” This post also included a manipulated image of Nitya, Arjun’s wife, embracing Kayla, a member of Arjun’s crew. Importantly, Nitya and Kayla never share a scene in Saros. They don’t even know each other, so the claim that Nitya left Arjun for Kayla is completely unfounded.
