Score 20% Off the Gym-Ready Beats Powerbeats Pro 2!
Beats has recently revamped the Beats Fit Pro for enhanced comfort and security, but they still can’t quite compete with the Powerbeats Pro 2, which remain a top choice for fitness enthusiasts. Right now, you can snag the Powerbeats Pro 2 for about $199.95 at various retailers, marking a $50 discount and their second-best price ever.
The Powerbeats Pro 2 have quickly become a favorite for workouts since their launch last year. They come with smaller, more comfortable earhooks compared to the previous version and offer wireless charging. The updated microphones effectively reduce background noise during music playback and calls. Their standout feature is heart rate monitoring, utilizing built-in sensors in each earbud that sync seamlessly with apps like Nike, Runna, Open, and Peloton. Plus, you can easily check your heart rate and calories burned through Apple Fitness Plus.
These noise-canceling earbuds are fairly versatile, supporting a range of features across platforms. While they do have some exclusive Apple functionalities—like dynamic head tracking for spatial audio, hands-free Siri access, and Find My integration—Android users can still enjoy one-touch pairing and basic control customization. However, they only have an IPX4 rating, which is less impressive than the IP57 rating of the latest AirPods Pro 3, meaning they are water- and sweat-resistant but not dustproof.
Despite this, the Pro 2 offers a solid mix of features, user-friendly physical controls, and an excellent transparency mode, making them a well-rounded option for fitness lovers, no matter what device they use.

* The Hatch Restore 3 is currently on sale for an all-time low of $144.99, a $25 discount, through March 22nd. This smart alarm, sunrise lamp, and sound machine is a great upgrade from the Restore 2, featuring new physical controls and a brighter design to help you wake up more easily. While it comes with a variety of content, a Hatch Plus account ($4.99/month or $49.99/year) is needed for full access to sounds and dynamic lighting.
* The remastered version of Final Fantasy Tactics for PlayStation 5 is available for $29.32, about $21 off, making it the best price yet. This classic strategy game has been updated with fully voiced dialogue and improved visuals, along with quality-of-life enhancements. I’m excited to dive back into Ivalice soon, though I’m still deciding between the remaster and the original from ’98, which is also included.
* The Apple Watch SE 3 is a solid recommendation for most users, but Woot has the last-gen Apple Watch Series 9 in select LTE configurations starting at just $229.99, a $270 discount, through March 12th. While both watches are similar, the Series 9 offers more advanced health sensors for $10 less and features a larger, brighter 2,000-nit display. Just a heads up: it may arrive in a brown bag from Woot, but it still comes with a standard one-year Apple warranty.
