Score $40 Off Shokz’s Bass-Heavy OpenRun Pro 2 for Mother’s Day!

If you’re in the market for a pair of open-ear headphones, Shokz has a great deal just in time for Mother’s Day. From now until May 10th, you can snag the OpenRun Pro 2, their top bone conduction headphones, for about $139.95, which is a $40 discount and the best price we’ve seen this year. Plus, if you buy directly from them, you’ll get a free waist bag valued at $29.99.

Open-ear headphones like these offer a safer listening experience, allowing you to enjoy your favorite tunes and podcasts while staying aware of your surroundings. After testing the OpenRun Pro 2, it was noted that using them felt like “the stars finally aligning.” Unlike many other open-ear options, these headphones deliver solid bass and clarity thanks to a dedicated air conduction speaker, although they won’t quite match the sound quality of traditional in-ear models. They are, however, more comfortable than previous Shokz versions, featuring flexible ear hooks and a lightweight neckband that ensures a secure fit, even for glasses wearers.

Another standout feature of the Pro 2 is their reduced vibration compared to other models, along with impressive battery life. You can expect up to 12 hours on a single charge, which means you could go nearly a week without needing to plug them in, and they charge quickly via USB-C. They also come with AI-powered noise cancellation for calls, though the effectiveness can vary based on testing, and they have an IP55 rating, making them suitable for sweaty workouts and outdoor activities.

Other Shokz options worth considering include the OpenFit 2 Plus and the original OpenRun, both of which offer unique features and comfort for different listening preferences.
