Sebastian Stan Teased as Potential Harvey Dent in The Batman 2 Through Mysterious Stylist Posts

As soon as the buzz started about Sebastian Stan potentially joining the cast of The Batman 2, DC enthusiasts jumped into speculation mode regarding his character. Recent hints suggest that Stan’s stylist may have inadvertently confirmed his role.

Michael Fisher, who has collaborated with Stan for years, posted a news article on Instagram that includes a cast list for The Batman 2, featuring a slide that states, “Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent.” Fisher also shared two edits of Stan portraying Dent, aka Two-Face, showcasing one side of his face burned, reminiscent of the iconic character. One of these images has made its way to Twitter.

While this could simply be Fisher showing support for his client, many fans find it hard to dismiss the coincidence of multiple posts linking Stan to Dent, especially when he could embody a variety of DC characters. One fan remarked, “Ok, that’s actually solid,” while another added, “If this turns out true, he feels like a perfect fit. This casting could add a whole new layer to Gotham.”

Warner Bros. has yet to officially announce Stan’s character, but fans are buzzing about the Thunderbolts star’s potential role. In addition to the scorned villain Two-Face, some believe Stan could also portray other DC antagonists like Hush or Talon. Hush is known as Bruce Wayne’s childhood friend who becomes a masked criminal, while Talon serves as an assassin for The Court of Owls.

Details about The Batman 2’s plot and Stan’s role remain uncertain, but we do know he will be joining Scarlett Johansson in Matt Reeves’ sequel, alongside Robert Pattinson reprising his role as the Dark Knight. Colin Farrell is also set to return as the Penguin.

The Batman 2 is scheduled for release on October 1, 2027.
