Shibuya Crossing in Forza Horizon 6 is currently a chaotic free-for-all.
A couple of weeks ago, the Forza Horizon 6 festival playlist kicked off, bringing new challenges for players to tackle in the game’s vibrant open-world rendition of Japan. One of the latest tasks, available until Wednesday, June 10, involves pulling off three “awesome” drift or e-drift skills at the iconic Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo.
This challenge has led to some serious mayhem. Shibuya Crossing is already one of the busiest intersections in the city—and the world—so adding players attempting to drift through it has turned the landmark into a chaotic scene. You can see the madness in the video shared in the tweet above.
The chaos stems from two main factors. First, drifting in Forza Horizon 6 is no walk in the park; it takes practice to get it right. Plus, Shibuya Crossing isn’t exactly a spacious area for drifting, with plenty of fences lining the edges, making it tough for players to nail the challenge.
While players’ cars can pass through each other without colliding, hitting a “mob” car—those AI-controlled vehicles that populate the streets—will result in a crash. With so many of these AI cars in Shibuya Crossing, they tend to stack up quickly.
If you’re looking to complete this challenge, you might want to wait a few days for the area to settle down. Alternatively, you can dive right in and join the chaos—it’s entirely up to you.
