The Warhammer-inspired FTL mash-up was taken down from Steam last month due to a DMCA takedown request. Initially thought to be a prank, it turned out that the 2025 strategy game was indeed facing the wrath of Games Workshop, the owner of Warhammer.

“After over a week of silence, Games Workshop finally responded to our email and confirmed the notice was legitimate,” developer Tundra shared. “They expressed concern over a specific shot from one of the trailers on the store page, claiming that certain elements could mislead viewers into thinking Void War is affiliated with Games Workshop, particularly the ‘oversized convex shoulder pads with a metallic rim.’”

To resolve the issue, Tundra removed the trailer, allowing the game to return to Steam. “While we disagree with their assessment, the easiest way to get the game back up and avoid a lengthy DMCA process was to take down that trailer and move forward,” they stated. What a fantastic system Valve has for dealing with baseless complaints!

Korean publisher Nexxon has entered into a partnership with Blizzard to assist in developing a project within the StarCraft universe, according to reports. It was previously mentioned that Blizzard is working on reviving StarCraft as an open-world first-person shooter. We might see an announcement or at least a teaser for this project at BlizzCon 2026.

Edmund McMillen and co-developer Tyler Glaiel encouraged players of their new roguelike to act like kittens in public to earn rewards online. And they did just that.

Jean-Charles Gaudechon will step into his new role on March 1 as the studio prepares for the launch of Control 2 and, hopefully, some updates on the Max Payne remakes. He has the backing of creative director Sam Lake, who noted, “He truly understands our wildly unique vision and the importance of the Remedy Connected Universe.”

Players can finally experience Sad Cat Studios’ long-awaited retro-futurist pixel-art action game on Xbox and PC starting February 11. The game has faced multiple delays but will be available on Game Pass beginning March 12.
