Speedo’s latest smart goggles can monitor all four swimming strokes.
Speedo is introducing a detachable smart module for its Vanquisher goggles, designed to enhance a swimmer’s performance analysis across all four strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. The innovative Speedo iQ system employs swim-specific sensors to monitor head movement, time breaths, and measure distance per stroke.
Unlike other smart goggles on the market, Speedo’s iQ system lacks a built-in display. Instead, it wirelessly sends performance data to a dedicated app, allowing swimmers to review their stats once they exit the pool. Plus, if you need to switch goggles, the module can easily be transferred to another pair of Vanquishers.
The Speedo iQ system is subscription-free and approved for use in World Aquatics competitions. The Vanquisher goggles with the iQ module retail for $189 and are currently available in a range of colors.
