Splatoon Raiders Unveils August Update Patch

Nintendo has a solid reputation for delivering games with minimal bugs, thanks to their rigorous testing and preparation processes. They strive to meet high standards before launching any title. However, even they can overlook a few issues. Player feedback is always valuable, and developers often use it to enhance their games post-launch.

Splatoon Raiders made its debut on July 23 to rave reviews. To ensure a smooth launch, Nintendo rolled out a final patch, v1.1.0, on July 22, which adjusted some audio files and gameplay elements to enhance the experience for players on day one.

This Switch 2 exclusive is a fully-fledged looter shooter that offers more depth than many might anticipate.

Now, more than two weeks after the release of Splatoon Raiders, players are still hooked on the ink-filled action. While a few minor bugs have surfaced, Nintendo has swiftly addressed them with patch v1.1.1.

One notable improvement was made to the command for releasing a tank’s limiter. Some players found it confusing, as they needed to hold down the A Button for it to activate. Recognizing this common issue, Nintendo simplified the controls, allowing players to just press the A button to release the limiter without holding it down.

The game has been described as “a mess in the most positive sense of the word,” so if you haven’t jumped in yet, now is the perfect time to give it a try.
