Spotify’s Fresh Finds Forward Offers Artists Free Studio Time and Additional Support

Getting featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlists can be a game-changer for artists looking to stand out in the crowded streaming landscape. To enhance this opportunity, Spotify is rolling out a new initiative called Fresh Finds Forward, designed to equip artists with the resources they need to make the most of their newfound visibility. Artists who are added to any Fresh Finds playlist after January 1st, 2026, can join this program and receive a full year of valuable support, including the standout perk of complimentary studio time at renowned locations like Electric Lady Studios in NYC, The Lighthouse at Ocean Way Nashville, or Spotify Music Studios in LA.

In addition to studio access, participants will gain early entry to Spotify’s tools and features, priority for tour and music video collaborations, and a year’s subscription to Landr Studio Pro and Splice’s Creator Plan. Recognizing the pressures of the music industry, Spotify is also providing six months of free therapy through BetterHelp, acknowledging that the journey to success can be both stressful and disheartening, especially since landing a Fresh Finds spot doesn’t guarantee immunity from future setbacks.

Unlike the previous Discovery Mode, which involved artists receiving a “promotional royalty rate” for increased algorithmic visibility, Spotify assures that the Fresh Finds Forward program maintains standard royalty rates and is entirely free for participating artists.
