Surprise Announcement Unveils Release Date and Cast for A Quiet Place 3

Writer-director John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place is set to make a return in 2027 with Part 3, featuring familiar faces Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Cillian Murphy from the previous installment, as Krasinski announced in a surprise reveal.

Joining the returning cast are newcomers Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke, and Katy O’Brian, as Krasinski shared. “So proud to be a part of this [A Quiet Place] family… old and new! Here we go!” he posted on Instagram, showcasing personalized scripts for each actor.

As with the earlier films in this sci-fi horror series, Krasinski will direct from his own script. He starred in the first A Quiet Place, which he co-wrote with Bryan Woods and Scott Beck. A Quiet Place Part 3 will mark the fourth film in the franchise, following the prequel A Quiet Place: Day One, set to release in 2024. Over the past eight years, the franchise has amassed $900 million at the box office and even inspired a video game spinoff, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead.

A Quiet Place Part 3 is scheduled to hit theaters on July 30, 2027, with production reportedly starting in New York this spring.
