T-60 Power Armor from Fallout Set for 2027 Release
With the return of the Fallout series on Prime Video not expected until 2027, along with the development of Fallout 5 after The Elder Scrolls 6, fans of the franchise will need to find alternative ways to indulge their love for the Wasteland. There’s speculation about a potential remake or remaster of Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas, but for now, players will have to get their Fallout fix through other means.
One exciting project on the horizon is a new model kit featuring the T-60 Power Armor from Fallout, created by toy manufacturers Good Smile and Max Factory. The Fallout Plamatea T-60 Power Armor model kit is currently available for preorder and is expected to ship next summer. This ready-to-assemble kit allows fans to recreate the iconic Brotherhood of Steel super-suits with impressive detail.
Standing at approximately 200 mm tall (just under 8 inches), the model kit comes with a variety of fun accessories, including a minigun, an assault rifle, a fusion core, and a bottle of Nuka-Cola, along with multiple hands for different poses.
Designed for novice model builders, the kit features snap-fit connections for straightforward assembly, eliminating the need for glue. Some components are pre-painted, and builders can personalize their model with water-slide decals to replicate the Power Armor worn by Brotherhood of Steel knights. Good Smile has showcased some additional customization options in their promotional images. More experienced hobbyists can also paint and weather the armor for a more authentic look.
The Fallout Plamatea T-60 Power Armor model kit is priced at $57.99 and is available for pre-order until August 26. It is anticipated to ship between July 1 and September 30, 2027. So, while fans will have to wait a bit longer, this model kit offers a fun project to dive into when the Fallout excitement reignites next year.
Unless, of course, there’s another re-release of Fallout 4.
Additionally, a $500 recreation of Nuka-Cola’s least-creepy mascot is set to arrive in 2026.
