Terraria’s latest update trailer reveals sky islands and introduces eight new formidable bosses, featuring a massive skeleton and enormous floating eyeballs.

A major update for Terraria is set to drop tomorrow, touted as the final one, and it’s packed with exciting new features, including some cool crossovers with Dead Cells and Palworld. Named ‘Bigger and Boulder’, this update certainly lives up to its title, and the trailer showcases some thrilling action.

In the Palworld crossover, players will gain access to a Digtoise that can assist them in various situations. While it’s still unclear if this creature can be kept as a pet, it’s undeniably adorable and useful. On the Dead Cells front, there’s a wealth of new gear, including a full costume inspired by the Beheaded and the Mushroom Staff, which is sure to become a fan favorite thanks to its ability to summon a small fungi companion.

The trailer also highlights a particularly intriguing feature: the Skyblock seed, which generates an island in the sky for players to build their bases. While the aerial setting is visually stunning, it presents challenges in resource gathering and requires careful planning for expansion.

Additionally, a new seeds menu has been introduced during world creation, allowing players to mix and match seeds to create unique worlds. Previously, players could become vampires or swap oceans for other liquids, and now, the developer has revealed there are over 100 combinations to explore.

Another exciting aspect of this update is the introduction of eight brand new bosses. Among them is a massive blue slime wearing a crown, a fearsome giant centipede, and an enormous bumblebee. Let’s not forget the eerie floating cosmic eyes. Each of these foes looks like a formidable challenge.
