The classic Pokémon anime is set to debut on Hulu and Disney Plus in just two weeks.

Pokémon: Indigo League, the beloved original series of the Pokémon anime, has been available on Netflix since 2014, featuring all 52 episodes of its first season. Starting Friday, August 7, fans can also catch this iconic season on Hulu and Disney Plus.

This season chronicles Ash’s adventures as he forms a bond with Pikachu, despite the little electric mouse’s initial reluctance. As Ash journeys through the Kanto region, he meets lifelong friends Brock and Misty and captures a variety of legendary Pokémon, including Charmander (who eventually evolves into Charizard), Squirtle, and Pidgeotto. It’s packed with memorable episodes like “Bye-Bye Butterfree,” “Battle Aboard the St. Anne,” and “Here Comes the Squirtle Squad.”

It features all episodes from the earlier seasons, extending through to season nine. This means you can enjoy the Kanto arc of Pokémon: Indigo League, as well as the Orange League and Johto storylines.

If you prefer classic television, Pokémon: Indigo League will also be airing on Disney XD, kicking off with an all-day marathon at 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, August 6. After that, episodes will air every weekday at 2:30 p.m. and on weekends at 8 a.m., starting Monday, August 10.
