The Hunger Games makes a comeback in theaters this summer for a special weeklong event.

Before the highly anticipated release of *Sunrise on the Reaping* this November, fans of the *Hunger Games* series will have the chance to revisit the films on the big screen. A limited engagement from Fathom Events will bring the entire series back to theaters for a week-long marathon this summer. Who’s ready to dive back into the arena?

The event spans five days, with each film screening for just one day. Here’s the lineup:

Since *The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes* serves as a prequel, some fans believe it should kick off the marathon on the first day.

The film series, based on Suzanne Collins’ novels, began with 2012’s *The Hunger Games*, featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen. Katniss volunteers to compete in the deadly games to protect her sister, ultimately becoming a beacon of hope in a tumultuous political climate. The cast also includes Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, and Stanley Tucci. The sequel, *Catching Fire*, hit theaters in 2013, while the final book, *Mockingjay*, was adapted into two films released in 2014 and 2015. Collins introduced the prequel novel *The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes* in 2020, which was adapted into a film in 2023, starring Rachel Zegler as the new lead and Tom Blyth as a younger Coriolanus Snow, the original trilogy’s antagonist.

*Sunrise on the Reaping* is set to premiere on November 20. This second prequel delves into Haymitch’s backstory, exploring his journey during the 50th Hunger Games. Joseph Zada takes on the role of Haymitch, supported by a cast that includes McKenna Grace, Jesse Plemons, Elle Fanning, Kieran Culkin, and Ralph Fiennes as Snow. Both Lawrence and Hutcherson are returning to their roles, hinting at scenes that take place after the original trilogy’s conclusion.
