The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Drops Below $300, Facing Tough Competition

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro has just dipped below the $300 mark, making it a deal you won’t want to miss.

This top-tier headset remains a favorite in our gaming headset rankings even in 2026, thanks to its impressive sound quality, compatibility across multiple platforms, hot-swappable batteries that eliminate the hassle of charging, and a high-quality retractable microphone. If this sounds appealing, you can snag it for $299.99 right now, saving $80 on the White version and $70 on the Black version. For those seeking premium audio, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite is also available, though it comes with a heftier price tag of $599.99. This new Elite model offers Hi-Res audio support, advanced audio drivers, and additional connectivity options. While today’s deal is still a great value, the Elite is an option if your budget allows.

The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless is currently priced at $299.99, down from its original $379.99. According to price tracking tools, this headset has been fluctuating between similar discounts and its full price for months. While significant savings like this aren’t uncommon, it’s always a good idea to grab the best headset when it’s at this price point, even with more premium options available.

**Buy it if:**
– You game on PC, PS5, or Xbox
– Your setup is centralized
– Comfort is a priority
– You want one of the best microphone experiences

**Don’t buy it if:**
– You need Hi-Res audio support from the Elite
– You prefer the Black version
– You’re on a tighter budget

In the UK, it’s available for £249.99.

It used to be easy to rave about the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless whenever it was on sale, as it was the most premium headset I had tested. However, after reviewing the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite, my perspective has shifted slightly.

The Pro Wireless is still the go-to recommendation for most gamers, especially those who don’t play on PC frequently. While the Elite boasts Hi-Res audio capabilities, not everyone can take advantage of that feature. Consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X max out at 48k/16bit, so unless you’re specifically looking for a top-tier PC headset, the $599.99 price tag may not be justified.

You do get Hi-Res audio support, impressive sound from the new 40mm Brass Surround + Carbon Fiber drivers, and the ability to connect and mix audio from four platforms simultaneously. However, many gamers may not need all those advanced features. The Pro Wireless still delivers fantastic sound quality and allows for simultaneous connections to your PC and PS5, provided they’re close by.

The Pro Wireless also faces competition from the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 Wireless, which is currently priced at $119.99. This mid-range option could be a better fit if you don’t game across multiple platforms and don’t require all the extra features.

The Arctis Nova 5 Wireless lacks a Game Hub/Base Station and hot-swappable battery technology, but it’s $180 cheaper and still offers great sound thanks to its 40mm Neodymium Magnetic drivers. Its design is similar to the higher-end models, featuring an elastic head strap and foam-cushioned ear cups, plus it supports over 200 game audio presets.

If you’re looking for a premium headset and frequently switch between gaming platforms, the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless remains the best choice. Even with the growing competition, it’s still the headset I’d recommend most, regardless of the current $80 discount.
