The top superhero game in years has just launched on Amazon Prime.
Every month, Amazon Prime members receive two fresh batches of games: one set to keep and another for streaming through Luna. The cloud gaming library boasts some impressive titles, including Control, Hollow Knight, and the Tomb Raider Survivor trilogy. The latest addition is Dispatch, which stands out as one of the top superhero games available.
Dispatch marks the debut of AdHoc, a studio formed by former developers from Telltale Games. Similar to Telltale’s offerings, it emphasizes choice-driven storytelling, allowing you to shape the character of Robert Robertson III (voiced by Aaron Paul). Once a superhero known as Mecha Man, Robertson loses his robotic suit and transitions to a desk job at the Superhero Dispatch Network (SDN), where he leads a team of reformed villains reminiscent of the Suicide Squad. As the dispatcher, you’ll determine which heroes are best suited for various missions, though their willingness to follow orders may vary.
“Tight dialogue and sharp direction are Dispatch’s biggest strengths and what earned it a spot on an outlet’s best games of 2025 list,” noted in our review of the game.
You can now stream Dispatch on Luna Standard, alongside Sonic Mania Plus. Additionally, Luna’s GameNight party games have introduced Courtroom Chaos: Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Centipede Swarm, with Jackbox Party Pack 8 (July 22) and Angry Birds Mystery Island (July 23) set to join later this month.
Throughout July, Amazon Prime members can claim a dozen free PC games. Unlike Sony’s PlayStation Plus offerings, which require an active subscription to play, Amazon’s free games come via redeemable codes from various PC gaming storefronts, such as the Epic Games Store and GOG. You’ll retain ownership and access to these games even if your Amazon Prime subscription lapses.
