This month, Amazon Prime members can enjoy 11 free games, featuring Mafia 2 among the titles.

Amazon Prime members can snag 11 new free PC games throughout May. Unlike the free titles offered through PlayStation Plus, which require an active subscription to play, Amazon’s free games come as redeemable codes from various PC gaming platforms, such as the Epic Games Store and GOG. This means you’ll retain ownership and access to these games even if your Amazon Prime membership lapses.

Leading the pack this month is Mafia 2: Definitive Edition, a remastered version of the 2010 action-adventure classic. Set a decade after the original, this stand-alone sequel immerses you in a different city where you step into the shoes of a war veteran entangled with the Sicilian mob amid a fierce power struggle between crime families. With over 8,000 Mostly Positive reviews on Steam, and the original boasting more than 10,000 Very Positive reviews, it’s clear that players have relished their time as a gangster in the fictional Empire Bay, New York.

Mafia 2: Definitive Edition is currently available for Amazon Prime members through a GOG code. It joins several titles from April that are still free for Prime members, including XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
