This week’s Xbox showcase will feature exciting new announcements from third-party developers.

Following a significant leadership shakeup and the announcement of its next-gen hardware initiative, Project Helix, Xbox is diving back into the action. The company has announced an Xbox Partner Preview event set for March 26, where the spotlight will be on third-party titles. This livestream will kick off at 10 a.m. PDT / 1 p.m. EDT on platforms like YouTube and Twitch, though the duration of the broadcast remains under wraps.

In anticipation of the event, Xbox has dropped some hints about what to expect: “During the Xbox Partner Preview, you’ll get an in-depth look at Ryu Ga Gotoku’s new project, Stranger Than Heaven, an update on Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, plus fresh insights into The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, an action-RPG set in the universe of James S.A. Corey’s acclaimed series. That’s just the beginning, as we’ll also showcase first looks and announcements from more exciting games coming to Xbox consoles, Xbox on PC, and Game Pass.”

Additionally, Xbox mentioned that the event will feature “brand-new reveals” and updates for Game Pass.

Stranger Than Heaven, the latest title from the creators of the Yakuza / Like a Dragon series, was initially teased under the codename “Project Century” during The Game Awards in December 2024. A deeper dive into the game was provided at Summer Game Fest 2025, unveiling its official title and a gritty early 20th-century backdrop. With its stylish fedoras, trench coats, and tough characters, Stranger Than Heaven is brimming with atmosphere. While a release date is still pending, we might get that information during the event. The studio recently launched Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties on February 12, leaving their schedule open for now.

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn has already garnered positive comparisons to the Mass Effect series. In July, Owlcat Games’ creative director Alexander Mishulin hinted at some familiar faces making appearances in this new adventure: “We are not telling who, we are not telling how, but we can confirm that some of the actors from the series will be making [an] appearance in our game.” Like Stranger Than Heaven, Osiris Reborn also lacks a confirmed release date.

As for other potential reveals at the Xbox Partner Preview, Persona 4 Revival seems like a strong contender. This long-rumored remake was first showcased at the Xbox Games Showcase last June, but we haven’t seen much beyond a brief look at some iconic locations. With September marking the 30th anniversary of the Persona series and no other confirmed 2026 releases from Atlus, this could be the perfect moment to unveil more about Persona 4 Revival. Alternatively, Atlus might surprise fans with a reveal of Persona 6. Either way, the wait is almost over.
