Tomb Raider 2013 Launches a New Portable Version

The 2013 reboot of Tomb Raider has made its rounds on various platforms, and now, in 2026, Lara Croft is set to embark on a new adventure on mobile devices. The game will launch on iOS and Android on February 12, 2026, with a price tag of $20. This mobile version will come packed with all 12 DLC packs, offering additional outfits, upgrades, and a bonus Challenge Tomb. Feral Interactive has stated that the game has been “expertly optimized” for smartphones and tablets, featuring a customizable touchscreen interface. Players can also expect controller support, with compatible devices allowing for gyroscopic motion-aiming. Preorders are available now on the iOS App Store, and Android users can pre-register on the Google Play Store.

Tomb Raider made a significant impact upon its release over a decade ago, showcasing Lara Croft’s first major adventure on the enigmatic island of Yamatai. This success led to two sequels: Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The franchise is gearing up for a revival, with two new titles announced during The Game Awards. Tomb Raider: Catalyst will be a fresh installment set years after Tomb Raider: Underworld, while Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be a remake of the original game. Crystal Dynamics is collaborating with Flying Wild Hog for the remake, and both new titles will feature Alix Wilton Regan voicing Lara Croft. Additionally, there are developments on the upcoming live-action Tomb Raider series, with Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner in the lead role and Sigourney Weaver confirmed to make an appearance.
