We kick things off with a romantic comedy featuring Kelly Rowland from Destiny’s Child and Method Man from the Wu-Tang Clan. Next, we dive into a Coen Brothers classic, and we wrap up with an action-packed thriller that will keep your adrenaline pumping.

This guide is here to showcase some great picks from Prime Video’s impressive library. Once you’ve enjoyed these, be sure to explore our recommendations for the best new shows and movies, as well as our lists of top shows and films currently available on Prime Video.

In this lively romantic comedy, Kelly Rowland and Cliff “Method Man” Smith star. Rowland plays Leah Caldwell, a TV producer aiming to become the first female showrunner of a prestigious New York morning show. Just as she thinks she’s secured the role, Jarrett Roy (Smith) arrives at the network as her new rival. To complicate things, Leah and Jarrett have a romantic history.

Who will land the job? And will their rivalry spark old feelings? As with any romantic comedy, you can probably guess how that plays out. “Relationship Goals” is a charming and humorous film that’s perfect for your weekend watch.

The Coen Brothers have a treasure trove of classics, but “Fargo” is often hailed as one of their finest. This darkly comedic thriller from 1996 is set in snowy Minnesota and revolves around a botched kidnapping, a determined cop—played by the brilliant Frances McDormand as the unforgettable Marge Gunderson—and a fair share of mayhem. It’s back on Prime Video, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in for a real treat.

“Fargo” inspired the acclaimed TV series of the same name by Noah Hawley, which captures a similar spirit. However, the original film remains a timeless classic that rewards multiple viewings.

This minimalist revenge thriller caught many off guard when it premiered in 2022. Jorma Tommila stars as Aatami Korpi, a gold prospector in Lapland who encounters a gang of Waffen-SS. The Nazis make a grave mistake by harassing Korpi, who retaliates with brutal efficiency, taking them down one by one and pursuing their platoon with every weapon at his disposal.

The joy of “Sisu” (a Finnish term meaning “stoic determination, grit, or bravery”) lies in the dark humor and relentless energy of its stoic protagonist as he dispatches his foes. With the sequel, “Sisu 2: Road to Revenge,” now available for digital rental and purchase, it’s the perfect time to revisit this bloody saga.
