Top Holiday Must-Have: Affordable Thumb Grips for Switch 2 Under $10
If you’re planning to take your Nintendo Switch 2 along for the holiday break, you’ve probably put some thought into which accessories to bring, and thumb grips should definitely be at the top of your list. These compact silicone add-ons fit easily into most cases and can significantly enhance your gaming comfort during those cozy hours spent playing by the fire.
One of the best things about thumb grips is their affordability, usually priced around $10. Right now, the Jsaux Thumb Grips for the Nintendo Switch 2 are available in a 3-pack for just $8.99, making it the perfect time to toss them into your bag for the holidays. I have these very grips in my Switch 2 case, and I can’t imagine diving into Pokémon Legends Z-A DLC without them next week. The countdown to the holidays is on!
Jsaux Thumb grips for Nintendo Switch 2 | $9.99 $8.99 Save $1 – Today, the Jsaux thumb grips are $1 off, but I’d recommend them even without the discount. This pack includes three grips with varying heights, allowing you to find the ideal fit for your gaming style. By picking up this set this holiday season, you’re not only protecting your Switch 2 Joy-Con sticks but also adding comfort and precision to your gameplay.
Thumb grips might not be the flashiest accessory for your Nintendo Switch 2, but if you find the Joy-Con controllers uncomfortable, I highly suggest grabbing a set this holiday season. Today is a great opportunity, as the $8.99 Jsaux Thumb grips set is a steal, especially considering you get three pairs for the same price that other brands charge for just one.
The three grips in this pack vary in height and comfort. My personal favorite is the high-rise option, which raises the sticks by an extra 7mm. While that might take a bit of getting used to, the added height makes navigating in Pokémon Legends Z-A much smoother, giving my thumb more room to maneuver. The standard flat Joy-Con sticks can feel limiting, but this slight elevation allows for more precise movements and reduces strain on my joints over time.
If the high-rise grips aren’t your style, the first pair in the set is nearly as flat as the original stick covers. You might wonder about their purpose, but having any grips helps protect your existing sticks from wear and tear while providing a rubberized surface that enhances grip and control.
The best part about this pack, aside from the current $8.99 price, is the chance to experiment with all three types to see which one you prefer. Other brands can charge between $9.99 and $21.99 for a single pair, so this variety makes it an excellent starter pack for anyone curious about one of my favorite modern gaming accessories.
