Unique Headphones from CES Set to Debut on Kickstarter Next Month
Every year at CES, there’s no shortage of innovative tech, and this year, a new player named Tomorrow Doesn’t Matter (TDM) unveiled a unique pair of headphones that stand out from the crowd. The Neo headphones can be rolled up like a hedgehog, transforming them into a compact Bluetooth speaker, perfect for sharing your favorite tracks with friends. Originally set to launch via Kickstarter this month, TDM has now announced that the crowdfunding campaign will kick off on February 10th, 2026.
The Neo headphones are priced at $249 for their official launch in July 2026, but early backers who preorder through Kickstarter can snag them for just $179.
These headphones are designed with sharing in mind, featuring earcups equipped with both inward and outward-facing 40mm drivers. In headphone mode, only the inward-facing drivers are active for a private listening experience. When rolled up, the Neo automatically switches to speaker mode, utilizing the outward-facing drivers, though there’s also a button to toggle between modes manually.
During CES 2026, John Higgins had the opportunity to test the Neo. He noted that while the headphones felt a bit heavy due to the batteries and additional hardware in each earcup, the process of rolling them up to switch modes was “easy and fast” and added a touch of fun to the experience.
