Upcoming Departures from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog
Last week, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the eight new titles joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this month. Subscribers at the Premium and Extra tiers can dive into games like Star Wars Outlaws, Red Dead Redemption 2, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and more.
However, some titles are also set to exit the service, and the Last Chance to Play section on the PlayStation Store highlights which games will be leaving in June. Notably, the original Red Dead Redemption will depart just as its sequel makes its debut. Released in 2010, Red Dead Redemption is an open-world third-person shooter that immerses players in the American frontier during the early 20th century. You take on the role of John Marston, a former outlaw on a mission to track down his old gang members. The game boasts a Metacritic score of 95 and clinched Game of the Year at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards, a precursor to The Game Awards.
Current subscribers will not be impacted by these changes.
Rockstar’s iconic Western isn’t the only title leaving the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog. Here’s the full list of games set to exit on June 16:
