WandaVision Episodes Now Available for Free Ahead of Marvel’s Upcoming Series

WandaVision made its debut on Disney Plus in 2021, marking the first entry in a trilogy of interconnected series. Following it, Agatha All Along is set to release in 2024, while VisionQuest will wrap up the narrative this month. In anticipation of VisionQuest’s premiere, Disney and Marvel are offering the first three episodes of WandaVision for free on YouTube.

The series picks up with Wanda Maximoff, also known as the Scarlet Witch, portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen, as she navigates life after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Living a seemingly idyllic suburban life with Vision, played by Paul Bettany, things are not as they appear. Notably, the last time audiences saw Vision, he met his end at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, yet he’s very much alive in this series. WandaVision delves into Wanda’s grief through episodes that pay homage to sitcoms from various decades.

It’s uncertain whether Disney will keep these episodes available on YouTube for the long haul or if they’ll be taken down once VisionQuest launches. Regardless, it’s a perfect chance to either revisit Wanda and Vision’s journey or dive into the show for the first time. For those looking to binge the entire season, all nine episodes are available on Disney Plus, which recently saw another price increase.

Next up in the MCU is VisionQuest, which will follow the resurrected Vision as he embarks on a quest to discover his identity. He’ll be joined by other AI characters, including Ultron and Friday, as he navigates this journey.

Trailers for the series reveal that AIs like Ultron will appear in human form. Showrunner Terry Matalas explained that this choice wasn’t driven by budget constraints but rather a desire to showcase the emotional range of actors like James Spader, who can convey nuances that a CGI character might not. “You’ll get plenty of robot action in the show. The show is very much inspired by that last scene in Age of Ultron between the two of them. But watching Spader and Bettany chew up the scenery was something I saw in my head from the very beginning,” Matalas shared.

VisionQuest will be available exclusively on Disney Plus, premiering with two episodes on October 14.
