Wolf Among Us 2 Set for Release Next Year, Alongside Upcoming Remaster of the Original Game

Telltale Games is back in action, gearing up to release Wolf Among Us 2 after a lengthy and tumultuous development journey. The game is slated for a 2027 release, and before that, players can look forward to a remastered edition of the original Wolf Among Us.

When Telltale made its comeback in 2019, Wolf Among Us 2 was among the first projects announced. The initial tease came during the Game Awards that same year, with development initially supported by Adhoc Studios, a team of former Telltale developers. However, the game faced delays in 2023 as it transitioned to Unreal Engine 5. Following this, Telltale and Adhoc parted ways, with the indie studio shifting its focus to Dispatch, a superhero narrative game that launched last year to strong sales and positive feedback.

Despite rumors circulating that Wolf Among Us 2 had been canceled, Telltale confirmed otherwise. Now, at another event hosted by Geoff, we’re treated to yet another trailer for this long-awaited title. Will it actually hit shelves in 2027? Only time will tell.
