Xbox Game Pass announces new titles joining the lineup this July.
July has been a month of transitions for Xbox Game Pass, with nearly 20 titles leaving the service. However, the end of the month is set to deliver some exciting new additions. While the second wave of incoming titles is brief, it certainly packs a punch, highlighted by the day-one release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, among others.
On Tuesday, Xbox unveiled the complete list of games joining Game Pass by the end of July. This second wave introduces eight new titles, bringing the total for the month to 18, which matches the number of games that departed from the service. Initially, there was to be one more addition, but it was confirmed that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 would not be included this month as previously announced.
Among the new arrivals, four are day-one releases. The standout is undoubtedly Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake of the iconic 2001 title that launched the beloved FPS franchise. While Campaign Evolved will lack multiplayer—a notable absence for a Halo game—it will feature three new missions. Additionally, Game Freak’s action-RPG, Beast of Reincarnation, is finally making its debut, drawing inspiration from Princess Mononoke and generating plenty of buzz. Although Beast of Reincarnation is technically an early August release, it has been included in the latest Game Pass announcements. The day-one lineup is completed by the extraction fantasy RPG Mistfall Hunter and the co-op detective game Shift at Midnight.
The remaining four titles bring some hidden gems to the service. Hell is Us made waves last year by distilling the Soulslike genre to its core elements. Corsair Cove, The Planet Crafter, and Heretic + Hexen, the latter of which will join Game Pass a couple of days into August, round out the offerings.
