Xbox Game Pass Welcomes 2026 with Two Major Titles

While the initial offerings for Xbox Game Pass in January may not be groundbreaking, the lineup later this month is sure to lift your spirits. By January 13, subscribers can dive into Ubisoft’s often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, followed closely by the visually stunning Resident Evil Village, featuring our beloved tall lady.

Today, January 6, brings us the quirky twin-stick shooter Brews & Bastards (which I’ll be checking out tonight) and the eerie Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition. Tomorrow, the subscription service will welcome last year’s sleeper hit, Atomfall, along with the roguelite sequel Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, the online multiplayer soccer game Rematch, and the Master Crafted Edition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, which hopefully addresses its launch issues.

Just a day later, we’ll see the original Final Fantasy in its 2024 “remodeled” version, seemingly taken from the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster bundle.

You’ll need to hold out for another five days until January 13 for the next update, when Star Wars Outlaws makes its debut. This is a fantastic opportunity for new players to experience this open-galaxy criminal adventure, especially after its rocky launch and the backlash it faced. If you were hesitant due to the noise surrounding its 2024 release, now’s the time to give it a shot—the stealth mechanics have improved significantly.

After My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery arrives on January 15, we’ll see Lady Dimitrescu strutting in her size 25s from Resident Evil Village on the 20th, alongside the day-one release of the metroidvania platformer MIO: Memories in Orbit.

As is the way with Microsoft, while we gain new titles, we also lose some. However, I doubt many will mourn the five games leaving on January 15, which are listed below:
