Xbox Kicks Off 2026 with Exciting New Game Pass Additions

Everywhere you turn, it seems like the gaming community is ringing the alarm bells for Microsoft’s gaming division. Recently, Xbox found itself outpaced by a console you might not even recognize. Xbox fan sites are now discussing PlayStation for the first time. The year 2025 was a whirlwind for Xbox and Microsoft. However, if we focus on the upcoming titles for Game Pass in 2026, it’s clear that the green gaming giant is still committed to attracting players with compelling games on its premier service.

Currently available are Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, but these aren’t the standout titles. The real excitement lies in what’s on the horizon for Game Pass. On January 13, the service will welcome the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world experience that shakes up the typical Ubisoft formula with an intergalactic heist narrative. Another major addition is Resident Evil Village, featuring the imposing Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review described as “the perfect cocktail of horror and action.”

Even the smaller titles coming to Game Pass soon deserve a shout-out. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a roguelike that flew under the radar, arrives on January 7th and is definitely worth a play, especially if you missed the original Lost in Random. Atomfall, a stealth survival game from the creators of Sniper Elite, is also on the list. This British post-apocalyptic title from last year could hook you in just about 15 minutes. Plus, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can look forward to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition.

Overall, while these additions may not be groundbreaking or the first-party heavyweights that typically define the service, Microsoft’s lineup is solid. It offers a nice blend of older titles you might have overlooked and newer games that didn’t receive the recognition they deserved initially, making them ideal candidates for a second chance on Game Pass.

You can check out the full list of new additions, along with the games that will soon depart the service. Just be prepared to say farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures.
