Zelda: Ocarina of Time Appears on Australian Nintendo Store with Potential $60 Digital Price Tag
All Nintendo has officially shared about the upcoming remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Switch 2 is a brief teaser and a release window set for 2026. However, a leaked listing from the Australian Nintendo Store has potentially revealed the price.
The listing was initially discovered by a gaming site focused on Nintendo. While there’s no official eShop entry for Ocarina of Time, searching for “Zelda” on the Australian and New Zealand Nintendo websites yields a result showing a price of $94.95 AUD for the digital version, implying a physical price of $109.95 AUD.
This suggests a digital price in the U.S. of $59.99 USD, aligning with what Nintendo charged for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, and $10 more than the recent Star Fox remake. It also indicates that the Ocarina of Time remake may not be the comprehensive reboot some fans were hoping for.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time digital is priced at $94.95 AUD in Australia (estimated to be $59.99 USD or £49.99 GBP equivalent).
While there was speculation about how a recreation of Ocarina of Time might resemble the recent open-world titles like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, a $60 price suggests a remake focused more on graphical enhancements rather than a complete gameplay overhaul. The Star Fox remake included new story cutscenes with voice acting, along with various tweaks, quality-of-life improvements, and new features, but it remained fundamentally the same game from decades ago on the Nintendo 64.
We’ll gain a clearer understanding of what the Ocarina of Time remake will entail when Nintendo reveals more during this week’s two Direct presentations. A dedicated Zelda Direct is scheduled for September 8, followed by a general Direct on September 9.
