Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Unveils Its Best Amiibo After Three Years

May 12 marks the third anniversary of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and to celebrate, Nintendo is introducing a new amiibo figure inspired by the game, set to launch later this year. This could be the most impressive Tears of the Kingdom figurine yet.

The Mineru’s Construct amiibo will hit shelves on September 17, 2026. This sizable figure depicts the ancient Zonai robot originally utilized by the Sage of Spirit, Mineru, which Link rebuilds and commands during the latter part of the game.

One of the standout features is its fully articulated, posable arms! Nintendo encourages players to experiment with its movement, suggesting you find a pose that suits your style.

As with previous amiibo, tapping the Mineru’s Construct on your Switch’s NFC reader will grant you useful in-game items. Notably, there’s a chance to unlock a unique fabric for Link’s paraglider, themed around Mineru’s Construct, complete with glow-in-the-dark elements.

It’s intriguing that Nintendo has chosen to release the Mineru’s Construct amiibo nearly three years after the game’s initial launch (and a year following its Switch 2 version). However, it’s worth mentioning that the presence of the Construct could be seen as a late-game spoiler for Tears of the Kingdom.
