Zelda’s 40th Anniversary Action Figures Unveiled, Kicking Off with a Fan-Favorite Game
Last week, Hasbro and Nintendo teamed up to unveil a new series of six-inch action figures inspired by characters from The Legend of Zelda. On Wednesday, they showcased the first three figures, and they’re exactly who fans were hoping for, looking fantastic as expected.
You can now find listings for Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf on the Hasbro Pulse website, with preorders set to kick off at 8 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 22. These figures draw inspiration from the characters’ designs in the latest open-world title, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Link and Zelda are priced at $27.99 each, while the larger Ganondorf, standing at seven-and-a-half inches, is priced at $42.99. Each figure is expected to ship on May 1, 2027, though this date may just be a placeholder.
Link comes equipped with his signature green arm, a shield, and the Master Sword, along with an interchangeable Zonai power hand. Zelda features a Decayed Master Sword, while Ganondorf wields a Gloom Sword that can be drawn from a scabbard. Each figure boasts over 20 points of articulation, allowing for dynamic poses on your display shelves.
“For decades, The Legend of Zelda franchise has captivated fans through its deep lore, unforgettable characters, and enduring sense of discovery,” said Hasbro’s toys and board games president, highlighting the collaboration with Nintendo. “By merging Nintendo’s iconic storytelling with Hasbro’s expertise in action and role-play, we’re creating toys that encourage fans to play, explore, and embark on their own epic adventures.”
This collaboration is described as a “multi-year partnership,” suggesting that more exciting toys are on the horizon. With The Legend of Zelda celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, there’s a wealth of games and iconic designs for Link and Zelda that Hasbro can draw from for future releases.
In 2026, fans were treated to a new Lego set depicting the climactic battle from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Additionally, a remake of Ocarina of Time is set to launch later this year. The soundtrack for Breath of the Wild is also getting a deluxe vinyl release in September. Plus, the highly anticipated live-action Legend of Zelda film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 30, 2027.
