BGIS 2026 Registration Starts December 15: Everything Players Need to Know
KRAFTON India has officially opened registrations for the 5th edition of the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES (BGIS) 2026, marking the return of the country’s largest open-entry esports tournament. With a minimum prize pool of ₹2 crore and an extended January–March 2026 schedule, BGIS is set to kick off India’s first major LAN esports cycle of the new year.
BGIS has long stood as the most accessible competitive platform in India, inviting any BGMI player—rookies, college squads, grassroots teams, or seasoned aspirants—to compete on the same stage. This year’s edition raises the bar once again, reinforcing KRAFTON’s commitment to discovering and elevating homegrown talent across the nation.
A Tournament Built for Everyone
Since its inception, BGIS has been defined by its open-to-all philosophy. Unlike invitation-based esports leagues, BGIS gives every player an equal chance to rise—from in-game qualifiers to high-stakes LAN finals. Over the years, the series has produced remarkable underdog stories, breakout rosters, and some of India’s most influential esports stars.
For 2026, this vision gets even stronger. BGIS 2026 will run across multiple online phases followed by LAN stages, bringing together thousands of squads from every corner of the country. Whether you’re entering with friends for fun or aiming for a professional esports career, BGIS offers a direct pathway to national recognition.
Registrations open December 15, 2025, on the Krafton India Esports website, with action starting in early January.
