BLAST Extends Collaboration with Ubisoft for Rainbow Six Esports
International tournament organizer BLAST and Ubisoft have announced the renewal of their global partnership for Rainbow Six Siege Esports.
While the financial details of this renewed agreement remain under wraps, it ensures that BLAST will manage the Rainbow Six Siege global esports ecosystem for the next three years, extending through the 2028-2029 competitive season.
BLAST initially partnered with Ubisoft for Rainbow Six Esports in 2023.
Additionally, the two organizations revealed the official locations for the Rainbow Six esports global events scheduled for the 2026-2027 season. These venues include Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States, along with events in Japan and Brazil, with specific cities yet to be announced.
“Over the past three years, BLAST and Ubisoft have collaborated closely to elevate Rainbow Six esports on a global scale, from unforgettable live events to a more competitive and connected ecosystem,” stated BLAST CEO Robbie Douek. “Renewing this partnership was a natural next step and sends a strong positive message to fans of BLAST Rainbow 6 and the competitive entertainment industry. With incredible destinations confirmed for the 2026/27 season and exciting plans ahead for the ecosystem, we’re eager to continue our mission to enhance and improve BLAST Rainbow Six Esports for fans, players, teams, and brands.”
In the 2026-2027 season, Rainbow Six Esports will expand to five global regions with the official launch of the CNL for China. This new league will feature a 10-team professional setup, integrating into the Global Standings system and joining the R6 SHARE program in 2026, making it eligible for revenue sharing starting in 2027.
