Esports Awards Parent Promotes Producer to Senior Leadership Role

The Mobile, Esports and Gaming Alliance (MEGA), the organization behind the Esports Awards, has officially promoted Morgan Tremaine, a seasoned producer, to its senior leadership team as Executive Producer. In this role, Tremaine will manage relationships with publishers, commercial partners, and strategic allies across MEGA’s events, while also contributing to the agency side of the organization.

Tremaine has been a producer for the Esports Awards since 2023 and previously held the position of Creative Producer at Esports Engine. His background includes work with mainstream media outlets like Sinclair Broadcast Group and TMZ. Additionally, he founded Cuer, a company specializing in broadcast rundown software, where he serves as CEO.

This promotion is part of MEGA’s strategy to enter a new phase of growth.

“Morgan has been instrumental in producing our flagship Esports Awards show, and his promotion to Executive Producer signifies a key moment for MEGA as we strive to elevate our event IPs,” stated Michael Ashford, Co-Founder of MEGA. “We believe that with Morgan at the helm, MEGA will continue to set the benchmark for live esports and entertainment experiences, creating unforgettable moments for our audiences and partners.”

Alongside the Esports Awards and its companion event, the Decade Awards, MEGA also hosted The Mobile Gaming Awards (Mobies) in 2024, which featured Samsung Galaxy as a presenting sponsor.

In 2024, the Esports Awards revealed a three-year partnership with the Esports World Cup to host its event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
