MLMS Tournament Announced: India’s First Official Moba Legends 5v5 National Esports Event
India’s mobile MOBA esports scene is set to take a major step forward with the announcement of the Moba Legends: 5v5! Master Series (MLMS), the country’s first official publisher-backed national tournament for the game. The competition is being organized by Mineski Events Team in partnership with Vizta, creating a structured pathway for Indian teams to compete at a national level and potentially represent the country internationally.
The tournament winner will earn the opportunity to represent India at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, marking the first time Indian Moba Legends players will have an official route to the global stage.
Tournament Format and Schedule
The MLMS tournament will follow a multi-stage competitive format designed to give both grassroots and professional teams a fair chance to qualify.
Registrations opened on March 10 and will remain available until March 19, with the first 256 teams securing spots in the competition. These teams will then battle through Open Qualifiers from March 23 to March 30, beginning with single-elimination matches before transitioning into best-of-three series as the bracket narrows.
The top two teams from the qualifiers will advance to the League Stage, scheduled from April 5 to April 26, where they will join six invited teams in a round-robin format. The strongest six teams will then progress to the Grand Finals, which will be held as a LAN event from May 9–10.
Prize Pool and International Opportunity
The MLMS finals will feature a ₹46 lakh prize pool, with the winning team earning the title of the tournament’s first champion. More importantly, the champions will secure a place at the Esports World Cup 2026, giving Indian players a chance to compete against top international teams.
The tournament aims to strengthen the MOBA esports ecosystem in India by providing a structured competitive pathway—from open qualifiers to a LAN championship—while helping local talent gain international exposure.
Registrations for the tournament are currently open, inviting teams across India to compete for the national title and the opportunity to represent the country on the global esports stage.
