Movistar KOI Teams Up with idealo for New Partnership
Movistar KOI, a division of OverActive Media, has teamed up with idealo internet GmbH, a product and price comparison platform based in Berlin.
The financial details of this partnership remain undisclosed.
Based in Madrid, Movistar KOI is an esports organization with a significant Spanish-speaking following. The team competes in titles like League of Legends (specifically in the League of Legends EMEA Championship) and Pokemon Unite. Previously, they had a roster in the Valorant Champions Tour EMEA, but that came to an end in September 2025 when Riot removed them from the league, subsequently replacing them with the French esports team Gentle Mates.
Adam Adamou, CEO of OverActive Media, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership in a social media post, stating, “Proud to welcome idealo internet GmbH as a new partner for Movistar KOI! Over the last two years, we have been building #MKOI around our creators and our community, treating content as a core product, not an afterthought. This partnership is another step in that direction and a strong signal of what brands in Europe see in this project.”
While the specifics of the partnership are not fully detailed, it’s reasonable to expect it will involve promotional branding opportunities, logo placements on team jerseys, and promotional content across various social media platforms.
Idealo positions itself as a leading product and price comparison platform in Europe, particularly recognized for its travel and accommodation services. It claims to attract over 2.5 million page impressions daily and connects users to more than 50,000 online shops.
