Realme Expands Sponsorship for M7 World Championship Events

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang developer MOONTON Games has announced an expanded partnership with realme, a leading Chinese consumer electronics brand.

While the financial details of this enhanced collaboration remain under wraps, it will see realme supporting MOONTON in launching two exciting initiatives during the M7 World Championship (M7) in Indonesia this month. The M7 will feature the second edition of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Media Championship (MMC) and introduce the M7 Awards for Best Media.

Scheduled to run from January 3 to 25, the MMC will host up to eight onsite media teams competing in an Elimination Round and a Grand Finals during the M7 Knockout Stage. The champions of this tournament will take home five realme smartphones and a significant portion of the 270,000 Diamonds prize pool. The inaugural MMC was held alongside the M6, where Malaysia’s WTM Today emerged victorious. More details about the MMC will be shared later.

“Hosting the MMC alongside the M7 gives us a chance to showcase the ecosystem behind MLBB Esports,” said Adrian Cher, global head of partnerships for MLBB Esports at MOONTON Games. “Esports is more than just the game and our players. What many don’t get to see is how technology powers gameplay and how our valued media partners bring these moments to life for audiences around the world. Through the MMC, we’re excited to let media representatives experience MLBB Esports first-hand and highlight the role they play in connecting us with our passionate community. The tournament is a celebration of how competition, technology, and storytelling come together to shape the future of esports.”

The M7 Awards for Best Media will include three categories: the “Trendspotter Award,” “Best in Esports Business Journalism Award,” and the “Outstanding Feature Award,” all sponsored by realme. Winners will receive a certificate of recognition, 50,000 Diamonds each, and a brand-new realme smartphone.

The realme 15 Pro has been designated as the “M7 Official Gaming Phone.”
