Riot Expands KitKat Collaboration to VCT EMEA and Game Changers EMEA

Riot Games has revealed that KitKat will be an official partner for Valorant Esports in Europe, supporting both the VCT EMEA and VCT Game Changers EMEA for the 2026 season.

While the financial details of this partnership remain under wraps, KitKat’s involvement will enhance the viewing experience by introducing in-game “breaks” during broadcasts. These breaks aim to deliver entertaining content between intense plays and exciting rounds, occurring during halftime, technical pauses, tactical pauses, and other moments, whether planned or spontaneous.

In addition to this, KitKat will enjoy significant visibility similar to its partnership with the LEC, featuring prominently in video content, social media, online marketing materials, and at LAN events, along with various fan activations.

KitKat, a snack brand owned by Nestlé outside the U.S. (where it is managed by The Hershey Company), has a history of collaboration with Riot’s League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC), having first partnered in 2020 and extending that agreement into 2026 earlier this year.

The first major event on the European Valorant esports calendar, the VCT EMEA Kickoff, is set to kick off on January 20. More information about this event can be found in Riot Games’ Europe primer.
