S8UL Esports has expanded its competitive footprint with a major new partnership, bringing high-performance smartphone brand iQOO on board as the Title Sponsor for its Pokémon UNITE and MOBA Legends 5v5 line-ups. The collaboration is a significant boost for S8UL’s multi-title ambitions and strengthens iQOO’s ongoing investment in the Indian esports ecosystem, following its successful association with the iQOO SOUL BGMI team.
A Boost for S8UL’s Multi-Title Expansion
Under the alliance, both rosters will now compete as iQOO S8UL Pokémon UNITE and iQOO S8UL MOBA Legends 5v5. iQOO will support the players with its gaming-focused smartphones to enhance training and preparations for upcoming tournaments, while also featuring its branding on team jerseys.
S8UL co-founder Animesh “8Bit Thug” Agarwal highlighted that the extended partnership aligns with the organisation’s goal of building well-equipped, highly competitive teams across every title they enter.
S8UL’s Pokémon UNITE roster—led by AllMight and featuring Kyurem, Snowyy, Badshahh, and ReX—continues to be the top-performing squad in South Asia with several regional championship wins and repeated appearances at the Pokémon UNITE World Championship.
The MOBA Legends 5v5 team, featuring Apex, Abhi, J, Radium, Anti, and Fear, brings strong competitive experience from India’s community tournament circuit, with Apex having competed internationally at the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024.
Partnership Arrives During a Landmark Year for S8UL
The collaboration comes as S8UL accelerates its growth across esports and content. Earlier this year, it became the first Indian organisation selected for the prestigious Esports World Cup Club Partner Program, placing it among the world’s leading esports brands.
The organisation also continued its dominance in content creation, winning ‘Esports Content Group of the Year’ for the fourth consecutive year, while Animesh Agarwal picked up ‘Esports Personality of the Year’ at the Esports Awards 2025.
The iQOO S8UL Pokémon UNITE roster will be the first to debut under the new banner, competing in the Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2026 – India starting November 29. The partnership solidifies S8UL’s mission to build championship-ready teams while strengthening iQOO’s position as a key supporter of Indian gaming.
