Proven Track Record and S8UL’s Global Expansion
The newly signed lineup is no stranger to success. Over the years, the team has secured multiple high-profile finishes, including a win at PUBG Continental Series 7 Europe (2022) and a major victory at PUBG Global Series 8 in 2025. They have also consistently placed among the top teams in international events, including a top-three finish at PUBG Global Series 2 (2023) and a strong showing at the PUBG Global Championship.
In total, the roster has earned approximately $713,000 (around ₹6.6 crore) in prize money, underlining its status as one of the most reliable teams in competitive PUBG PC esports. Their prior participation in earlier editions of the Esports World Cup further adds valuable experience heading into the 2026 season.
For S8UL, this move reflects a clear shift from being a dominant Indian organization to building a truly global identity. The organization has been actively investing in top-tier talent across multiple regions and titles, aiming to establish itself among the world’s elite esports clubs.
S8UL has already confirmed participation in 13 different titles at EWC 2026, including Apex Legends, BGMI, Call of Duty: Warzone, Valorant, and more. This multi-title expansion highlights its long-term strategy of competing consistently across major global tournaments.
Road to Esports World Cup 2026
The PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS event at EWC 2026 is scheduled to take place from July 21 to July 26 in Riyadh, featuring 24 of the best teams in the world. The tournament will offer a prize pool of $2 million (approximately ₹18.6 crore), making it one of the most competitive stages in PUBG esports.
S8UL’s new roster will now compete through the qualification pathway to secure a spot at the main event. With their experience and track record, expectations are high for a strong showing.
This signing also comes after S8UL was named among the top 40 global organizations in the Esports World Cup Foundation’s Club Partner Program. The recognition further strengthens its position as a key representative of India on the global esports stage.
With a proven international roster and a clear focus on results, S8UL is positioning itself as a serious contender for EWC 2026. The addition of Team Question Mark could prove to be a defining step in the organization’s journey toward global success.
