Team Falcons Triumphs at DreamHack Atlanta Warzone, Highlighting Hisoka-Shifty Rivalry

Team Falcons showcased their prowess in competitive Call of Duty: Warzone by clinching the Warzone Resurgence Series LAN Finals at DreamHack Atlanta. While their championship performance was impressive, the spotlight also shone on the intense rivalry between Hisoka and his former teammate Shifty from Twisted Minds.

The Falcons trio, consisting of Hisoka, Newbzz, and Dongy, triumphed over a 16-team field to secure consecutive titles in the Warzone Resurgence Series, walking away with a $30,000 prize and direct qualification for the $1 million Esports World Cup.

Tensions ran high during the event as Shifty taunted the Falcons from the player pit, specifically targeting Dongy and Hisoka. At one point in the finals, with multiple teams, including Twisted Minds and Falcons, on match point, Shifty was heard shouting: “Soka, I know you hear me. Don’t forget, you’re not a world champion without me. I brought you into this game!”

Shifty’s bold remarks aimed at Hisoka and the Falcons stirred the atmosphere. The Warzone Resurgence Series Atlanta finals reached a critical match point for several teams, intensifying the rivalry.

It’s worth noting that Shifty, Hisoka, and Biffle previously won the World Series of Warzone (WSOW) 2024 Global Finals under the Team Falcons banner. They continued to compete in major Warzone LAN tournaments, including the WSOW 2025 final and the Esports World Cup 2025, where they finished in fifth place before parting ways.

Shifty’s comments at DreamHack Atlanta seemed to ignite a fire in Hisoka and his Falcons teammates, who fought through 11 drops to claim the title. After securing the championship, Hisoka confronted Shifty across the pit, exchanging heated words in an emotional faceoff.

The victory marked a significant achievement for Hisoka, as he now holds the record for the most LAN victories in competitive Warzone history following the DreamHack Atlanta win.

For Team Falcons, this championship solidifies their status as the leading squad in the current pro Warzone scene, having won back-to-back WRS LAN titles after also dominating the tournament at DreamHack Birmingham just two months prior.

With their momentum building, Team Falcons are now setting their sights on the Esports World Cup, eager to extend their reign on Warzone’s grandest stage.
