TMGM Joins the Esports Scene with OG Collaboration
OG Esports, a prominent European esports organization, has teamed up with TMGM as its official global CFD partner for the Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2 teams. This collaboration marks the first foray into esports for the Australia-based broker.
While the financial specifics of the agreement remain under wraps, the partnership promises a range of digital activations, branded content, and fan incentives, including cashback rewards and signed OG jerseys. TMGM’s branding will also feature prominently on OG’s website, social media channels, and streaming platforms.
Kalvin Chung, head of partnerships at OG Esports, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “TMGM will be our exclusive Global CFD partner going forward, marking their entry into the esports arena. We are dedicated to delivering value for our community, their company, and OG. Our initial phase will focus on a social and community-driven campaign to ensure alignment before we make further commitments.”
Founded in 2013 in Sydney, TMGM offers access to contracts for difference (CFDs) across various asset classes, including forex, shares, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. The company is regulated by several financial authorities, including the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission.
CFDs are derivative products that enable traders to speculate on price movements without owning the underlying asset. They often involve leverage, which can lead to losses that exceed the initial investment, depending on various factors. TMGM’s announcement included a risk disclaimer highlighting that leveraged products carry significant risk and may not be suitable for all investors.
Nick Yang, Chief Commercial Officer of TMGM, shared his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We look forward to engaging OG’s global community through a digital campaign that combines trading access, fan benefits, and brand activations.”
This deal is part of TMGM’s broader strategy to expand its presence in sports marketing, having partnered with Chelsea FC since 2023 and recently enhancing that relationship with back-of-shirt branding for the 2026 FA Cup. Additionally, TMGM announced a multiyear partnership with the Brooklyn Nets, which will include in-arena and digital signage starting with the 2025-26 NBA season.
For OG Esports, this partnership with TMGM follows a recent collaboration with the crypto and Web3 betting platform Dexsport, which became a headline sponsor for the organization’s Counter-Strike 2 team.
