Trackmania Officially Added to the 2026 Esports Nations Cup Roster

The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has officially revealed that Ubisoft’s acclaimed racing game Trackmania will be featured as a competitive title in the upcoming Esports Nations Cup this fall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Trackmania joins Mobile Legends: Bang Bang as one of the confirmed titles for this nation vs. nation showdown.

The inclusion of Trackmania in the competitive lineup isn’t particularly surprising, considering Ubisoft’s strong support for the Esports Nations Cup, alongside other notable companies like Chess.com, Krafton, and Tencent.

However, projects funded by the Saudi government often face scrutiny, with accusations of being used for “sports washing.” Critics argue that these initiatives serve to distract from the government’s record on human rights, including issues related to women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, the treatment of journalists, military actions in Yemen, and more. These concerns have been raised by various international watchdog organizations.

An earlier version of this story mistakenly referred to the Esports World Cup instead of the Esports Nations Cup. We regret the confusion.
