NODWIN Gaming, in collaboration with Riot Games, has officially announced the upcoming VALORANT Challengers South Asia (VCSA) 2026 season. Registrations for Split 1 are currently open, giving teams across South Asia time to sign up before the deadline on March 4, 2026. The tournament broadcast is scheduled to begin on March 16, bringing the region’s top VALORANT competition back to fans.
The matches will be streamed live on the NODWIN Gaming and VALORANT Esports South Asia YouTube channels, allowing viewers to follow teams as they compete for a spot in the official pathway toward international VALORANT competitions.

Multi-Stage Tournament Structure Introduced
The 2026 season will follow a structured competitive format designed to highlight both rising and established teams. It begins with Open Qualifiers scheduled from March 7 to March 11. During this stage, teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket featuring best-of-three matches.
The top 10 teams from this phase will advance to the Open Qualifier Playoffs, which use a double-elimination format. From there, the top five teams will secure their place in Split 1 of the tournament.
These teams will join three invited squads from the previous season, forming an eight-team lineup for Split 1. This stage will feature a single round-robin format across 14 match days, totaling 28 matches. At the end of the split, the top six teams will move on to Split 2, while the bottom two will compete in promotion and relegation matches.
Split 2 will again feature eight teams battling through another round-robin stage. The top four will qualify for the final playoffs, where a single-elimination bracket will determine the season champion.
Regional Eligibility and Competitive Pathway
To participate in VCSA 2026, players must hold a minimum rank of Immortal 1 or above. The tournament is open to teams from South Asian regions including India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, and the Maldives.
The competition continues to serve as the official regional route toward the VALORANT Champions Tour ecosystem, giving the best-performing teams an opportunity to progress to larger international stages.
Game Changers Initiative Expands Opportunities
Alongside the main tournament, the Game Changers South Asia 2026 initiative will also take place during the year. The program will feature two splits with open qualifiers, offering a competitive platform aimed at increasing inclusivity within the VALORANT esports scene.
The winner of the second split will earn a place in the Game Changers Pacific competition, giving South Asian talent a chance to represent the region internationally.
Building on the Momentum of 2025
The upcoming season builds on the success of the 2025 edition, which attracted millions of viewers and strong engagement from the regional esports community. That season also saw Velocity Gaming secure a place at VCT Ascension Pacific after winning the Ascension Qualifiers LAN final.
With an expanded structure and renewed focus on competitive development, VALORANT Challengers South Asia 2026 aims to further strengthen the region’s presence in the global VALORANT esports ecosystem
