Call of Duty Black Ops 6 & Warzone Season 3 Reloaded: Midseason Update Details

Call of Duty’s midseason update for Black Ops 6 and Warzone is just around the corner. Season 3 Reloaded is expected to go live on or around May 1, with the update typically launching at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST / 9:30 PM IST across platforms. Here’s a full breakdown of what players can expect.

New Weapons, Maps, and Perks in Multiplayer

Topping the list of new content is the Ladra SMG, a fast-firing weapon built for close-quarters chaos. While it lacks stopping power, its low recoil and insane fire rate make it a deadly choice for aggressive players.

Multiplayer will get three new maps:

  • Haven – A close-quarters 6v6 map inside a covert KGB safehouse.
  • Signal – A hybrid map for both 2v2 and 6v6, set in a submarine bay.
  • Blazetown – A trippy, 4/20-themed spin on Nuketown, full of psychedelic effects.

There’s also a new Recon perk called Vendetta. It lets you tag the last known position of the enemy who killed you, and grants bonus score if you get revenge.

Multiplayer also gets Joint Operations, a limited-time mode where players rotate through five different rule-sets, including low gravity, double health, hallucinations, and third-person view.

Zombies Mode Gets a Twist

In Zombies, Director Mode arrives for the Shattered Veil map, giving players more control and customization options. Finish the main quest before the end of the month to earn an exclusive calling card.

Frost Blast, a returning field upgrade, will help slow the undead horde. Also coming is a mysterious new mode called Zombie Snacks, though Activision hasn’t spilled the details yet.

Warzone Updates: Ranked Play Returns, Verdansk Evolves

Season 3 Reloaded brings Ranked Play back to Warzone for trios in 150-player matches on Verdansk. The long-awaited High Trip mode—originally meant for April 20—makes its debut in this update. Expect weird visual filters, bizarre power-ups, and a surprise narrator to guide the chaos.

Verdansk is getting a makeover too:

  • New ascenders added to rooftops
  • Train Station interior is now explorable
  • A moving Train POI
  • High-value loot zones, Big Game Bounties, the Specialist Perk, and the Bunker Buster killstreak join the action

Limited-Time Events & Final Call for Black Ops Tribute Rewards

Season 3 Reloaded also wraps up the Black Ops Tribute event, so this is your last chance to unlock exclusive cosmetics. Don’t miss new shop bundles either—Jay and Silent Bob join the fun, alongside a bacon-themed operator skin.

With fresh gear, wild modes, and some serious throwbacks, Season 3 Reloaded is shaping up to be one of the most packed midseason updates yet.
